Library Expectations
You are always welcome in the library! It is a place to study, read, and work independently or with a group. It doesn’t always have to be a quiet space but it does need to be a place that is safe and conducive to working.
Library Rules:
Students need a pass signed by the teacher when coming to the library.
If you need to leave the LMC, you must obtain permission and a pass. Avoid crowding and blocking the entrance at the end of the period.
Actively use the computer for educational purposes at which you are sitting or move to a desk so that others may use that computer.
Use your available resources! We have databases, e-Books and print collections to help you.
NO texting or phone calls!
Come prepared with work to do or something to research or read.
Food, candy, and drinks are not allowed in the library.
Check Out Procedures:
Students are expected to return their books on time and in good condition.
Books are checked out for two weeks.
Students may renew books for an additional two weeks.
Students may have up to seven books checked out at one time.
Students must pay for books that are damaged beyond repair.
Students must pay for lost books.
Students may not check out another book until damaged and lost book fines are paid.
